SUI Listing Campaign - Bybit 2023

1. Project Context: The SUI Mania
SUI was one of the most anticipated Layer-1 launches of 2023. By that time, I was Marketing Manager for Bybit Vietnam & Malaysia markets, responsible for the local execution of the ByStarter launch - a premier token sale platform.
- The Challenge: To participate in the SUI Whitelist sale, users were strictly required to pass Identity Verification (KYC) Lv.2.
- The Crisis: The overwhelming demand led to a massive bottleneck. Tens of thousands of KYC applications flooded the system simultaneously, causing pending statuses, system lag, and high user frustration.

2. Strategic Intervention: "The Fast-Track Solution"
Recognizing that the bottleneck could jeopardize the entire campaign’s conversion rate, I took immediate ownership of the situation. Instead of waiting for global support, I initiated a Local Rapid-Response Plan:
- Streamlined Filtering: Developed a manual pre-filtering process to identify and prioritize legitimate high-value applications for the technical team.
- Educational Blitz: Produced "Lightning Tutorials" (videos and infographics) specifically addressing common KYC Lv.2 mistakes to reduce the volume of rejected/resubmitted profiles.
- Direct Community Support: Deployed real-time FAQs and guides across social channels to manage user expectations and reduce the load on the global CS team.
3. Key Achievements & Recognition
My proactive approach turned a potential operational failure into a successful launch.
- Performance: Successfully onboarded a significant portion of the Vietnam & Malaysia whitelist participants despite the technical hurdles.
- Award: Honored with the "Real-time Reward" by Bybit leadership for exceptional initiative and crisis resolution during a high-stakes product launch.
- Impact: Maintained Bybit's reputation in the local market as a responsive and user-centric exchange during one of the year's most competitive listings.

4. Operational Takeaway for Solana Funded
This experience at Bybit defines my approach to Head of Operations:
- Crisis Ownership: I don't just report problems; I engineer solutions in real-time.
- Scalability Mindset: I understand how to manage "The Next Billion Users" by optimizing the friction points in the user journey (KYC/Onboarding).
- Systemic Thinking: My ability to coordinate between Marketing, Technical, and Compliance teams is what ensures a smooth engine even under extreme pressure.
